Essential oils can be used in several different ways, from aromatherapy and massage to skin care. They are known to have healing properties that can treat certain skin conditions and restore balance to the body. It’s important to note the difference between essential oils, carrier oils, and herbal body oils.

Essential oils are typically highly concentrated and in small bottles. Most of them need to be diluted with carrier oils or water and are typically not meant to be used on their own. Body oils however are generally okay to apply directly to the skin (however, check instructions on the bottle as they may vary).
